FEES: Standard Consultation $65, Long Consultation $90.
BULK BILLING: We will bulk bill all children under 16, concession card holders and DVA patients.
TELEPHONE CALLS: Due to time pressures, confidentiality and provision of quality services, doctors are not generally able to return non urgent phone calls. Please make an appointment with your doctor if you wish to discuss any aspect of your health.
HYGIENE: The surgery has strict infection control policies in place to avoid risks of illness or disease transfer, including autoclaving of medical instruments.
PRESCRIPTIONS: We do not issue prescriptions without a doctor’s appointment. We ask that prior to running out of any continuing medication you may be taking you make an appointment so a prescription can be obtained. If you forget to do so, please call and we will fit you in with your doctor as soon as possible.
REFERRALS: Gold Coast GP Super Clinic provides comprehensive and continuous care in all aspects of General Medicine. However, there are instances when a referral to Consultant/Specialist doctor is required. Your doctor will discuss this with you. Referrals cannot be made without a consultation.
DELAYS: It is important to us to be on time for our patients. If the Doctor is running late, it is usually unforseen & the result of an emergency which will take priority at that time. We will endeavor to keep you up to date with wait times and we appreciate your consideration & patience in this matter.
CONFIDENTIALITY: Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.
PATIENT FEEDBACK: From time to time, patients will be invited to complete a questionnaire on their views of the practice and how it can be improved. Such surveys are confidential and help us help you. Should you be unhappy with any aspect of the care you receive here, please discuss with your Doctor or the Office Manager.
