Fees:

We are a mixed billing practice whereby payment is required on completion of your consultation with the doctor.

Bulk Billing of services is always made available to the following patient groups:

Children under 16 years of age

Pension Card Holders

All Concession Card Holders

Dept of Veteran Affairs Card Holders

Presentation of a current Medicare card and pension/concession card is required at time of consultation.

Consultation fees:

Brief consultation – $40

Medicare rebate: $16.60

Standard consultation – $65

Medicare rebate: $36.30

Long Consultation – $95

Medicare rebate: $70.30

There is a higher charge of $80 for Level B consults (Before 8am Mon-Sat and all day Sunday)

Please note other charges may apply depending on the nature of consultation. Please speak to our administration staff with any queries. All fees remain at the discretion of our doctors.

Specialists, Radiology, Pathology and associate services may incur an additional fee and are available from the service provider.

EFTPOS and Credit Card facilities are available for your payment.

Other services available include: Immunisations, Minor operations, Lung Function Tests, ECG’s, Medicals (pre-employments, Driver licences & insurance), pap smears & Family planning. A range of allied health services including: Dietician, Exercise Physiologist, Diabetes Educator & Physiotherapist.

Booking Appointments:

Our clinic operates on a standard consultation time with your regular doctor where possible by appointment only.

We ask that you phone to cancel any appointments you can’t attend so that they can be offered to another patient.

Should you have any immediate concerns prior to being able to see a doctor please call and discuss these with one of our experienced nurses.

All patients suffering severe pain, difficulty breathing or a potential life threatening emergency should, in the first instance, CALL an AMBULANCE on “000”.

Parking for people with a disability is available at the front of the building. A wheelchair is also available on request.

Chronic Disease Management:

We feel very passionate about preventative care and chronic disease management and will work with you to help address your diabetes, adverse family history, obesity and high blood pressure. We will be proactive, working with you to educate you on how best to prevent and manage chronic disease.

Additionally, you may access many allied health services including podiatry, dietetics, audiology, psychology, and physiotherapy all from our new Gold Coast GP Superclinic. By having these ancillary services situated together we ensure a more streamlined and collaborative approach to patient care.

Children’s Health:

At Gold Coast GP Super Clinic we offer a wide range of care for babies, children and new parents. We have a very confident Tresillian Parentcraft Nurse on site who specialises in child immunisations, care plans, or if you just need a chat regarding feeding problems our Nurse Barb will help!

Skin Checks:

Regular skin checks are an important part of maintaining good health and preventing skin cancer. At Gold Coast GP Super Clinic all our GPs are able to perform skin checks. We have DR Yu Hwa Liew and  Dr Nazrul Islam who has special interests in skin related concerns.

Women’s Health:

Some women find it easier and more comfortable to see a female doctor for certain health issues. We have SIX female doctors at the practice all with extensive experience and knowledge regarding women’s health. Including: antenatal care, contraception (including insertion and removal of mirena IUDs), breast and cervical screening, and anti-ageing care.

Medicals & Work Cover:

At Gold Coast GP Super Clinic we deal extensively with work cover claims and medical forms (including drivers licence, commercial driver licence, pre-employment medicals, dive and production medicals). Dr Graham Wright has extensive knowledge in production and dive medicals. Dr Brendan Ah Yui and Dr Max Wong provide extensive Pre Employment and Dive Medical experience.
